I recently bought so many sewing patterns. Now if I just had some friends to come over here and spend a day or a weekend sewing. Wouldn't that be grand? I also want to make some more star hats. I have a craft show in 2 weeks and hardly anything to take to sell. Life has been too hectic for sewing.

I took a challenge to do a self portrait a day for a year. I'm about 2/3 done. Today was one of the nicer ones. I got to get fancied up and go outside in my garden and take some photos. After a few days of rain it was nice to get back out there and enjoy a sunny day.…

I was at a camping event and I got sunburned. I was wearing a hat or a visor every time I went into the sun. It helped some I'm sure but I sunburned the top of my shoulders because I was wearing a sleeveless shirt and also on my neck. I should have put on sunblock. Somehow I never was near the sunblock when I needed it. It was always at the campsite when I was at my craft booth or something. I should have tried harder to hook up with it.

Color Theory can make fashion so much more interesting and fun. There are in fact many types of color theory. There is the art school color theory with the color wheel and complimentary colors and analagous colors and all that.

But there is also the metaphysical view of color theory, like dressing to match your chakras or dressing in Kabbalistic colors.

Then there is the psychological school of thought where you dress in ways to heal yourself, like wearing bright yellow on an overcast… Continue
